I am originally from Buffalo, New York, where I attended Canisius High School. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Yale University in 2010. I moved to Boston and began working as a Business Analyst at CSN Stores, which would soon be re-branded as Wayfair.com. I eventually transitioned into a role on Wayfair's then nascent data science team.
I began graduate school at Cornell University in 2013 with the aim of combining my social science interests and data science toolkit. I was given an opportunity to pursue this intersection with the Department of Sociology, and, in particular, the Social Dynamics Laboratory. During my time as a graduate student I also participated in workshops in Computational Social Science at the Santa Fe Institute.
Outside of work, I enjoy rowing, skiing (nordic and downhill), and ice hockey. I am also, for better or worse, a lifelong fan of the Buffalo Bills.
